The Role

FTE £26,873 - £28,770 per annum

ACTUAL £15,015 - £21,434 dependent on agreed weekly hours (between 22.5 - 30 hours per week, term time + additional 3 weeks)


Prosper Learning Trust is seeking to appoint to the above permanent post to add some additional capacity to our small team. The post is due to commence on 15th April 2024. The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic person who is well organised, self-confident with a high level of attention to detail.

 

The Trust Central Finance Team is responsible for all operational finance processing on behalf of all schools within the trust.

 

Main duties associated with this role are:


  • To undertake the purchase ledger processing of the Trust, including sourcing suppliers, checking requisitions, raising purchase orders, matching delivery notes and processing purchase invoices ready for payment;
  • To liaise with various internal and external stakeholders regarding purchase orders and invoices
  • To monitor the finance email mailboxes responding to and answering any queries, and forwarding any emails where necessary.


Experience of school/academy finance operations would be desirable, but not essential. The successful candidate will:

 

  • Have experience of purchase ledger processing
  • Have experience of Microsoft Office packages (including Word and Excel)
  • Have the ability to manage their time effectively, use initiative and be professional with a flexible attitude.
